Patient Helps Patients

Mo Ferrer in the studio A hospital patient who was treated for breast cancer at Clatterbridge has used Radio Clatterbridge to share her experiences with others. Mo Ferrer contacted the station through Twitter after reading that bosses at Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology had discussed finding patients to help others through their treatment. The 54 year old talked to Coffee Club presenter John Roberts about being off work for 10 months while she underwent chemo and radiotherapy. But Mo's message was that life is for living and there's no room for negative thinking. She was so impressed with the service that Radio Clatterbridge offers that she's now considering volunteering with the charity in her own time.
